Overview
Stancor Forgings supplied SA 105 / A105 Carbon Steel and F51 Duplex 2205 Forgings in NPS 2 to NPS 24 for forged valve bodies and bonnets in carbon, duplex and nickel alloy, proof machined in United Arab Emirates, released against EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report.
The challenge
The customer needed forged valve bodies and bonnets in carbon, duplex and nickel alloy, proof machined that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released 140 MT of SA 105 / A105 Carbon Steel and F51 Duplex 2205 Forgings in NPS 2 to NPS 24, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
