Stancor Forgings supplied EN19 / 42CrMo4 Alloy Steel in 1800 mm to 2400 mm outside diameter for seamless rolled rings for main bearing races with full ultrasonic coverage in India, released against EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report.
The challenge
The customer needed seamless rolled rings for main bearing races with full ultrasonic coverage that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released 64 rings of EN19 / 42CrMo4 Alloy Steel in 1800 mm to 2400 mm outside diameter, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
