Overview
Stancor Forgings supplied SA 105 / A105 Carbon Steel and SA 350 LF2 Low Temperature Carbon Steel in 400 mm to 1900 mm diameter for upset flange blanks and heat exchanger tube sheets with through-thickness UT in Saudi Arabia, released against EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report.
The challenge
The customer needed upset flange blanks and heat exchanger tube sheets with through-thickness UT that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released 260 MT of SA 105 / A105 Carbon Steel and SA 350 LF2 Low Temperature Carbon Steel in 400 mm to 1900 mm diameter, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certificate with the heat treatment chart and ultrasonic report and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
