Forged & Machined Shafts — Manufacturer & Supplier
Plain, stepped and flanged shafts in EN19, EN24 and stainless, finish machined with run-out measured.
Shafting is the part of the range where the metallurgy and the machine shop have to agree. Shafts are forged at a 6:1 reduction for rotating duty, quenched and tempered to the ordered property class, stress relieved after rough machining, then turned and ground to the drawing with run-out, concentricity and surface finish measured and reported. Keyways, splines, threads and shrink fit diameters are machined in house.
Manufactured under the Stancor Forgings brand by Stancor Forgings.
